Honey & Soy Salmon



Serves 1


Ingredients:

1 piece of salmon (skin off)


Marinade: 1tsp soy

2 tsp honey

2 tsp sesame seeds


Sauce:

1 tbsp soy

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp sesame seeds


Method:

1) Place the salmon in a tray

2) Mix the tsp amounts of soy, honey and sesame seeds

3) Cover the top of the salmon with the marinade sauce and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes - this allow the salmon to absorb the flavour

4) Pre- Heat a griddle pan on a medium to high heat and spray plenty of oil to avoid the salmon sticking

5) Place the salmon in the pan and allow to cook for 3-5 minutes then flip over

6) When the salmon has fully changed to a lighter pink colour Remove from the heat


Sauce:

1) Mix the sauce ingredients in a microwave safe pot and microwave for about 30-until warm

2) Drizzle onto warm salmon when serving


Serve with:

Carbs: Rice, noodles

Veg: Broccoli, Edamame, Pak Choy
